INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Everyone faces challenges in life.

Therapy offers a supportive space to better understand your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, helping you to move forward when you feel stuck.

Individual therapy centers on building a trusting relationship with a trained clinician in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Together, you and your therapist work to strengthen your mental health, enhance your well-being, and create meaningful change.

People seek therapy for many reasons, such as:
-
Stress & Overwhelm
-
Life Transitions
-
Relationship Difficulties
-
Generalized Anxiety
-
Panic
-
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
-
Trauma (PTSD)
-
Depression
-
Insomnia
Our providers are trained in a variety of evidence-based therapies that have been proven effective in research to treat such conditions, including:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):
A structured, goal-oriented therapy that focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. CBT teaches skills to challenge distorted thinking, modify behavior patterns, and develop healthier coping strategies. Research shows that CBT reliably reduces symptoms of depression, anxiety, and self-harm, while also improving overall well-being and quality of life.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT):
A form of CBT that emphasizes balancing acceptance and change. It teaches skills in four areas: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. DBT has been shown in multiple controlled trials to significantly improve emotional regulation and daily functioning.

Internal Family Systems (IFS):
A therapy that views the mind as made up of inner parts, each with its own feelings and roles. The goal is to help the client heal wounded parts rather than suppressing them. Research indicates that IFS can reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health concerns, while improving self-compassion, emotional awareness, and overall well-being.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT):
A mindfulness-based therapy focused on accepting internal experiences, reducing struggle with thoughts and feelings, and taking action based on personal values. Clinical studies of ACT have shown it to be effective in reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and stress while improving psychological flexibility, well-being, and overall life satisfaction.

Unified Protocol (UP):
A transdiagnostic, emotion-focused CBT approach designed to treat a range of emotional disorders. It integrates mindfulness, cognitive restructuring, and exposure to help individuals respond more adaptively to emotions. Research shows that UP produces large reductions in symptoms of anxiety and depression and boosts quality of life across different disorders.

Our goal is to connect you with the therapist and therapeutic approach — or combination of approaches — that best fits your needs. We offer a collaborative team model that allows family members to see different providers within the same practice, ensuring well-coordinated and comprehensive care.

We strive to make getting the right support simple, safe, and comfortable — all in one place.
